Here's an eLearning software tutorial for the opensource software Audacity, which is something I use a lot for voiceovers. (See my Camtasia page for some examples). In this small project, learners are given a choice to learn the steps of removing background noise step-by-step, through looped video tutorial, or both, before they practice.
