Freelance Project
About this project:
Here are some interactions for a development project I worked on in June 2022. The project(s) were much more extensive but I'm only providing slides which contain my own vision and development in terms of how the interactions play out.
Freelance Project
About this project:
This is a part of a project that I worked on from Spring 2021 to Spring 2022. One of the largest school districts in the country adopted a new curriculum for all K12 schools and this project guided the teachers through their school year as they implemented said curriculum in their classrooms. Over 600 schools, 22,000 teachers and 340,000 students were impacted by this project.
All eLearning development was done in Articulate Storyline.
Audacity Software Tutorial
About this project:
Call me crazy, but I love making software simulations and other related learning objects. Maybe it's because at some point in time, most people need to learn new tools, or brush up on old ones, for their job. I've learned a lot myself from other people's tutorials so, as a hobby, I like to make my own for the general public. Here's a small one for the audio software Audacity.
What I like most about this project is that instead of just creating a video, I created an eLearning lesson where learners can study the steps to clear up background noise via a looping GIF or through still images and directions, or both, before going on to practice the steps themselves. In fact, this personal project represents a minor educational philosophy of mine: giving learners choices in how they wish to take in the content.
Complex Branching Template
About this project:
Here's an assessment template that can have multiple outcomes. Learners can also make mistakes and get back on the right track. Looking at the diagram below, any ending within the yellow shading implies that the learner is required to start over. If the ending lies outside of the yellow shading, they can choose to redo the scenario or end it, as they've done well enough to continue. Learners are also given three separate feedback vehicles: a text box, a "success meter" and the character's reaction.
